Calling All Local Music Educators! 

Los Angeles Children’s Chorus invites you to join us on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12, 2023, for a very special education program at Pasadena Presbyterian Church. Luminary choral music artist and conductor, Dr. Anton Armstrong, will be with us for two enlightening days of master class teaching. Currently the Tosdal Professor of Music at St. Olaf College, conductor of the renowned St. Olaf Choir, and Chair of Chorus America’s Board of Directors, Dr. Armstrong will work with LACC’s Apprentice Choir, Intermediate Choir, and Concert Choir on March 11, and Chamber Singers and Young Men’s Ensemble on March 12 during five separate master classes, all of which are sure to be insightful and inspiring for choristers and audience alike.These master classes are being offered free of charge for the benefit of our choristers and community. Audience capacity is limited, so if you are interested in attending, please RSVP here.Master Class Schedule:Saturday, March 118:45 am – 10:30 am, Fellowship Hall: Apprentice Choir (our youngest performing ensemble, typically ages 9-12)10:30 am – 12:15 pm, Fellowship Hall: Intermediate Choir (our intermediary choir, comprising singers ages 11-15)1:15 pm – 3:00 pm, Fellowship Hall: Concert Choir (our advanced treble ensemble, with older singers 12-18)Sunday, March 123:15 pm – 5:00 pm, Fellowship Hall: Chamber Singers (our smallest and most advanced ensemble for singers 16-18)5:15 pm – 6:45 pm, Fellowship Hall: Young Men’s Ensemble (an advanced ensemble for singers with changing or changed voices, ages 13-18)
