JOIN LACC FOR THE WORLD PREMIERE OF THE NEWEST SING! FEATURE DOCUMENTARY FILM
Los Angeles Children’s Chorus’ Board of Directors and Oscar-winning Director Freida Mock invite you to a private screening of the CHOIR and CONDUCTOR.The film tells the story of how a visionary conductor, working with children who love choral singing, helped create one of the world’s premiere children’s choirs. How did conductor Anne Tomlinson make this happen? Set against the exotic 2018 Iceland/Norway Tour, the film dramatizes how conductor Tomlinson molded the little known Los Angeles Children’s Chorus in to a world-renowned choir.

LACC is described by Gustavo Dudamel as “one of the artistic gems of Los Angeles” and by composer Esa-Pekka Salonen as “the best children’s chorus I’ve ever heard.”

AUDITION TO JOIN ONE OF OUR RENOWNED CHOIRS
LACC offers children the opportunity to grow musically by supporting their healthy vocal development via a comprehensive, balanced, sequential program. Children enjoy the shared experience of creating choral music with their ensembles, acquire musicianship skills, develop their individual voices through one-on-one vocal coaching, and build camaraderie and the “spirit of the ensemble” with fellow choristers at retreats and in rehearsals.Children ages 8 to 12 are invited to audition for LACC’s treble program on June 5, 6, and 8. Young Men’s Ensemble auditions are available on June 5 and August 18 and by appointment throughout summer. Remaining time slots for treble choir auditions are limited! Learn more about the audition process and request an audition here.
