Los Angeles Children’s Chorus returns to the LA Philharmonic’s acclaimed Sounds About Town series in a performance featuring nearly 300 choristers from six choral ensembles. Highlights of the program include works spanning more than four centuries from Johann Sebastian Bach, Claudio Monteverdi, Henry Purcell, Pau Casals, Reena Esmail, and Sarah Hopkins among others, along with world premiere performances of new works written for LACC from composers Ellen Gilson Voth, Derrick Skye, and Pedro Osuna.

Performing ensembles will include Chorale, Chamber Singers, and Concert Choir, conducted by Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz; Young Men’s Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Steven Kronauer; Intermediate Choir, conducted by Associate Artistic Director Mandy Brigham; and Apprentice Choir, conducted by Eric Lifland.
