LACC’s Young Men’s Ensemble joins Artes Vocales and Angeles Chorale for these concerts celebrating music for and from the world of cinema.

The program includes enchanting excerpts from Bach’s St. Matthew Passion (Scorsese’s Casino), Mozart’s Requiem (Amadeus), Les Miserables, Hamilton, La La Land, Star Wars, Amistad, and more!

The performances also offer a magical opportunity to travel back in time…view the 1910 silent short film, As It Is in Life, directed by the era’s legendary DW Griffith…and hear the premiere of composer Maria Newman’s soundtrack for choir and organ!  (Scott Van Ornum/guest organist)
