We invite you to join us for a special, one-of-a-kind outdoor evening at The Huntington to celebrate Los Angeles Children’s Chorus and raise vital support for LACC’s award-winning music education programs and need-based scholarship fund. Each year, these programs inspire and change the lives of more than 350 young people from 150+ schools and 80+ zip codes across Los Angeles.
The 2022 Spring Gala will honor Dr. Ying-Ying Goh, Director of the Pasadena Public Health Department, and include performances from GRAMMY-nominated Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz and LACC choristers. The event will also feature emcee Kai Ryssdal, LACC Board Chair and host of public radio’s award-winning Marketplace program, and auctioneer Suzanne Krainock of Inspired Benefit Auctions.
Due to limited venue capacity, only 160 seats (20 tables) are available for purchase.
All proceeds will support LACC’s music education programs and need-based scholarship fund.
LACC will require proof of vaccination against the COVID-19 virus, including a booster shot, for all attendees. Requests for medical exemptions from the booster shot requirement will be considered.

The winner of our Last Hero Standing will take home an exquisite basket featuring a selection of favorite wines of the LACC Board of Directors, including bottles from Big Basin Vineyards, St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, Caymus Vineyards, and Stags’ Leap Winery. This is the perfect way to stock your wine cellar with soon-to-be favorites while also generously supporting LACC!
Just remember, for Last Hero Standing, there are two simple rules: 1) the last donor to raise their paddle wins the wine and 2) you may raise your paddle as often as you like to be the last donor, but EACH time your paddle goes up, you are making a gift to LACC. Best of luck in being the last hero standing!
