Los Angeles Children’s Chorus invites you to take part in our annual spring benefit and celebration, Every Child Sings on Saturday, March 29 at Zipper Hall at the Colburn School in downtown LA. The night will feature performances by LACC’s GRAMMY Award-winning ensembles Concert Choir, Chorale, Chamber Singers, and YME. This year’s event honors our Young Men’s Ensemble, which was formed 15 years ago under the inspired leadership of then Executive Director, Rachel Fine and Artistic Director, Anne Tomlinson. YME, as we have come to know it, is a trailblazing ensemble and has been since its inception. It is always an LACC fan favorite! Their conductor, Dr. Steve Kronauer, has been with the ensemble for the entire journey, training changing voices with care and creativity.
For our sponsors, Every Child Sings begins at 5:00 pm at Vespaio on Grand where a sumptuous family style Italian dinner will be shared. The action then moves across the street to Zipper Hall where guests will be delighted by LACC performances and a look back at YME over the years. There will be an exciting live auction of PRICELESS items and paddle raise in support of our financial aid fund. The concert is followed by a delectable dessert reception catered by Urban Palate.
