LACC@HOLA AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD SEPTEMBER 14, 2024.
LACC@HOLA is a no-cost (for HOLA participants) program that began in February 2024. Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10 am – 2 pm. Rehearsals will take place Saturdays from 10 am – 11 am.
Los Angeles Children’s Chorus (LACC) partnered earlier this year to bring choral music education to young HOLA participants at no cost. Now the program is back for another semester this fall. LACC@HOLA is a FREE Choir program for students going into Grades 2–6. Auditions and rehearsals take place at HOLA. The program is designed to teach newer singers the fundamentals of singing and song through musical games, fun activities, and lots of singing. At the end of the sememster, there will be a celebratory performance and gathering for participants and their families.

ABOUT LACC’s VOCAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS:
LACC offers children the opportunity to grow musically by supporting their healthy vocal development via a comprehensive, balanced, sequential program. Children enjoy the shared experience of creating choral music with their ensembles; acquire musicianship skills; develop individual voices through one-on-one vocal coaching; and build camaraderie and the “spirit of the ensemble” with fellow choristers at retreats and in rehearsal.
LACC also affords its choristers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to participate in its national and international touring program and experience the stage in collaborative performances with some of the world’s most prestigious companies, such as Los Angeles Opera, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Through LACC’s transformative program, children discover their musical ability and creativity in a supportive environment that nurtures the whole child.
