Over the course of her tenure, Tomlinson built LACC into one of the world’s leading children’s choirs. Under her leadership, what began as a fledgling organization with just over 100 children in three choirs has grown to serve more than 400 annually in six choirs and the First Experiences in Singing program. Tomlinson and the LACC have earned national recognition for their efforts. They were featured in the Academy-Award-nominated documentary Sing! and were awarded Chorus America’s Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence in 2014.
